Time in Islam
Allah mentions the importance of time in Surah Adh-Dhariyat that time is limited for us. We should not waste time in useless things rather than we should spend time in worship of Allah. Usually we forget to fulfill the purpose of life and then claim that we do not have enough time for prayers.
Work in Islam
In Islam, labor is considered a virtuous deed and obligatory upon all able bodied person in society. Man has many needs to fulfill: food, water, clothing, shelter, medicine, education etc. and since he is required to fulfill these needs for himself and his family through lawful means, he is obliged to work.
Ethics in Islam
Many virtues/good character traits/moral qualities such as kindness (to people and animals), charity, forgiveness, honesty, patience, justice, respecting parents and elders, keeping promises, and controlling one’s anger, are commanded or encouraged in verses in the Quran and hadith.
